We understand your growing concern for safer and more wholesome seafood products. We are committed to improving our facility and the products we purchase worldwide. . We were an early adopter of the Hazard Analysis Critical Point Control (HAACP) guidelines and helped set the standards for the rest of the industry. In 1995, we voluntarily chose to adhere to the USDC's (United States Department of Commerce) National Seafood Inspection program rather than just follow HAACP guidelines.

E. Frank Hopkins Co., Inc. is now the only USDC approved plant in the Tri-State area and the 57th approved plant in United States. We have been inspected, approved and certified as being capable of producing safe, wholesome products. We bear the official USDC inspection and Grade Mark.

Every product that comes through our doors undergoes a detailed inspection. An HAACP trained employee carefully examines product temperature, weight, contamination, decomposition, smell and freshness. If the product does not pass inspection, we send it back to the provider.
