HAKE
Hake is a white fleshed groundfish found in abundance in the temperate and cold waters of both the northern and southern hemispheres. Harvesting is almost always done by trawlers. In general hake has a reputation for a soft or even mushy texture. However, fish from some waters are very similar to cod in taste and texture.
